“I sometimes dream that I’m trapped on the outside of a building, which is strange because I’m scared of heights. I always manage to find a way down on an outer staircase” Laraine Pittaway, Forest Dale.

Hi Laraine,
Your dream would indicate that you are fearful of being restricted in your life.  You are frightened of being hemmed in, hence your reluctance to go into the building just in case you are unable to get out of it.  You are addressing your fear of heights which is the lesser of the two evils - it is easier to cope with your fear of heights rather than your fear of getting into a deeper situation which you fear you can't get out of.

“One dream I really remember was when I was hanging off an edge of the cliff and a devil was throttling me, I was fighting for breath. It was weird because when I woke up I was hanging off my bed, struggling for breath.” Malcolm Shepherd, Village Fish and Chips, Addington Road, Selsdon

Hi Malcolm
This dream indicates your fear of the unknown.  It is a sign that you are reluctant to 'jump off the edge of the cliff' just in case you are unable to get back again.  You fear that if you take that vital plunge, it would not be the right step for you & that you could be taking the wrong direction in life.  This is your subconscious holding you back - you have the Angel on one shoulder, the Devil on the other.  Your gasping for breath is the sign of adrenaline pumping through your body, the fight or flight hormone.   To prevent this dream in the future, think of your loving Guardian Angels whilst dozing off at night, who will direct you in the right & safe direction in life.

“I frequently dream that I’m trying to get in somewhere but I can’t get in, something is always stopping me. Once it was a lion and sometimes it’s a dark shadow of a person, I then scream and wake up” Jan Bushnell, Forestdale.

Hi Ian
This dream symbolises your fear of not being able to achieve.  It indicates that you have a sense of self doubt & feel that there are bigger forces than yourself which will prevent you from moving forward with your life.  Before you go to sleep at night, imagine that your aura is expanding, so that you have 'grown in size', which indeed, by expanding your aura you will have.  You will then be ready to face these larger than life obstacles & will be more able to open that door to get to see what's on the other side.   The bigger your aura, the greater your defence.  By practising expanding your aura you can make it grow several meters out, all around you & in time you will be far bigger than any lion or dark, shadowy figure.

“When I was a child I had a reoccurring nightmare. It started off with me sitting in a room with an old woman, everything in there was pink and flowery, and the colours were really bright. We were having tea from a flowery teapot, cups and saucers. Then all of a sudden I’d hear the noise when somebody scratches their nails along a black board, it shivered through my body. Then all the nice flowery things would be gone and bolts, tyres and oil would fall through the ceiling. I would then be on a conveyer belt with lots of other people. A rolling machine thing was at the end and would be flattening people, stretching them out. I never reached the stretcher. I probably only had the dream for a few nights but it feels like a large proportion of my life. I also often dream of my life a few months into the future, lots of amazing stuff has happened but usually I don’t realise it was just a dream until halfway through the next day,” John Diprose, The Photoshop, Coulsdon

Hi John
You have four elements in your dreams here which need analysing.  Your first dream is I feel connected to a grandmother or great grandmother figure, even of a kindly, elderly neighbour or family friend.  She was bathing you in love.  I also feel you had a fear of death from an early age.  She was trying to let you know that beyond the 'Veil of Tears', life is sweet & beautiful.  The second element of your dream indicates that you should listen more to your intuition.  The scraping of the blackboard means 'wake up' to what's around you.  The falling of the bolts, types & oil indicates what would happen if you did not pay attention to situations surrounding you.  The bolts - a wake up call - bolts are heavy & will hurt you, the oil slippery.  If you were not careful, you'd slip up, all through your not paying attention to what was going on around.  The conveyor belt with the many people on it indicates that you would not perform to your best ability unless you paid attention & woke up to the opportunities that life was offering you.   You would literally be on life's conveyor belt of having a mundane existence.  The dreams of the future are your Guardian Angel pointing you in the right direction, giving you warnings as well as showing you what can be ahead for you.  Listen to the wise gently guiding you through life.

“A dream I really remember, is when I was falling down somewhere and there was a devil in the room I fell into. The room had lots of heads in it. The devil was stirring a cauldron, around and around, I then ended up under the caldron and then landed in an empty pot. It was really weird!” Robbie Somers, Coulsdon.

Hi Robbie
This is your reluctance to let go, just in case you end up from the frying pan, or cauldron should I say, into the fire.  The different heads of the Devil indicate the different choices, all of which could have a negative outcome.  But there is a flip side to every situation.  Out of every negative situation there is a positive one too.  The stirring of the cauldron indicates your confusion as to what was the right direction to go & your mind was going round & round.  The empty pot symbolises a mental decision.  You made your decision, opened the way forward & the direction you then were to take was down to you.  The pot was empty, allowing you the possibility to fill the cauldron with what you wished.

Do you believe all dreams have a meaning?

Yes definitely.   Many dreams indicate our subconscious, where we face up to our fears & our fantasies.  Whilst deep in sleep, our conscious mind, the rational thinking mind, goes to rest, allowing our subconscious mind to take over.  Other dreams are more spiritual based.  Again, whilst our conscious mind is at rest, our loved ones may come through to us.  During this state of rest, we may also get warnings or premonitions from our Guarding Angels.

What is the best thing about being a psychic?

Being a psychic is more of a vocation rather than a career choice.  Being a psychic, I am hopefully able to help people through times of trouble be it due to relationship problems or career direction.  I also work as a Spiritual Medium which is connecting with those who have passed over.  It is extremely satisfying to act as the medium between the two dimensions & for someone who has lost someone dear, just one sentence from Spirit can ease a troubled, bereaved soul.

Many people often dream about falling, does this have a meaning?

Yes it does but the context of the dream will determine the meaning.
